A two-storey car park significantly increases parking capacity at the town football stadium while using greenery to integrate the structure into its surroundings.
The design responds to the need to expand existing parking capacity at a prominent location by the football stadium. The two-storey car park provides a total of 245 spaces – 133 on the ground floor and 112 on the first floor. The building keeps existing traffic connections, and its façade consists of horizontal elements combined with climbing plants that soften its technical character. The solution thus combines efficient land use, greater parking capacity and a more refined appearance of the public space.
